I'm an English mandolin and guitar player now aged ... ahem .. almost 40. Got my first mando (an ancient Neapolitan-style roundback) when I was 16 and have
never stopped loving mandolins. Recently acquired a Breedlove Cascade (gorgeous!).
I also teach Latin and have written two books: "Annus Horribilis: Latin for Everyday Life" (published Oct 2007) and "Amida: A Novel", an epic of ancient siege warfare (pub 2004, www.pineapplepubs.co.uk)
